How should I clean Comotomo bottles?Updated a year ago

Prior to using the bottles for the first time, disassemble and wash with warm soapy water and sterilize all parts in boiling water for about 3 minutes. Please use tongs to prevent the rings and the caps from hitting the bottom of the pot which can get really hot.

For each subsequent use, wash the bottle and all the parts in warm soapy water after each feeding. Do not clean with solvents or any harsh chemicals, and make sure to thoroughly rinse out any soap residues after each wash. We also recommend frequently sterilizing in boiling water or a sterilizer of your choice for optimal bottle hygiene.

Please make sure to inspect the bottle and nipple prior to each feeding and make sure to replace any parts that show visible signs of wear. Lastly, the vents on the nipples are delicate, so we recommend washing them gently with your hands rather than using a brush.

Our bottles are safe to clean in dishwashers (top rack), as well as microwave, steam, and electric sterilizers.
