How do I distinguish nipple flow?Updated 2 years ago
To distinguish the nipple flow, please look at the tip to see how many holes it has:
1 hole = “Truly” Slow Flow (Newborns - 3 months)
This is what comes with our 5oz bottles. It has one hole in the very center.
2 holes = Medium Flow (3-6 months)
This is what comes with our 8oz bottles. If you see a “hole” in the middle of the Medium Flow or Fast Flow nipples, this is just a dimple that is created during the manufacturing process, so it is not a functioning hole. You should see two smaller holes around it, thus creating a straight line.
3 holes = Fast Flow (6+ months)
Holes will be aligned in a triangle-like shape.
Y-cut = Variable Flow (6+ months)
Good for thicker fluid
